Subhash Goswami, MBA – COO

Subhash has an MBA from Hull University, UK, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Gauhati University, Assam India. With The Cognition Group since 2003, Subhash has controlled all aspects of commercial and operational management and develpment, responsible for the establishing of our subsidiary operations in India, the USA and most recently Poland. With a strong sales and marketing background and expertise in building multi-cultural and international teams, Subhash has been charged with the growing and maintenance of an organization that was once a group of 8 in 2003 and is now a group of close to 100 people at 5 offices across the globe.

Science and Research

Herbert Meltzer, MD – Chair, Scientific Advisory Board

Since accepting the role of SAB chair in 2006, Dr. Meltzer has been committed to the growth and improvement in science delivery and maintenance of integrity from TCG. In addition to his interest in the management and focus of the group, Dr. Meltzer is using Cogtest in his own investigator initiated studies.

Dr. Meltzer is the Bixler/May/Johnson Professor of Psychiatry and Professor of Pharmacology at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine where he is director of the Psychosis Program. He has received a number of awards for his research work, most recently The Grant Liddle Award for Clinical Research at Vanderbilt, an award given annually to a clinical investigator who has had the biggest impact on their field. He received the Lieber Prize for Schizophrenia Research, Efron Award of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology, the Gold Medal of the Society of Biological Psychiatry, and numerous other awards for his research in schizophrenia and its treatment. Dr. Meltzer has been the president of the American (ACNP) and the International (CINP) Colleges of Neuropsychopharmacology. He remains one of the most influential key opinion leaders in schizophrenia and cognition.

Susan De Santi, PhD – Scientific Advisor and Head of Research Team

Dr. Susan De Santi is responsible for the work of TCG's five member (in house) research team. In addition she contributes to the analysis of cognitive data and rater training data for reports. Dr. De Santi provides expertise in selecting the appropriate neurocognitive battery for the clinical trial.

Dr. De Santi brings a wealth of research development and design experience to TCG. Her main areas of interest include neurobehavioral/neurocognitive changes in normal aging, mild cognitive impairment, and Alzheimer's disease (AD).

Since joining our team in January 2007, she has participated in a number of activities and projects. Dr. De Santi is involved in presenting TCG's scientific data to the CNS community. She has been Cogtest's Expert Trainer at Investigator Meetings; and presented Cogtest data while participating in Scientific Advisory Boards. Dr. De Santi contributes to the data analysis, interpretation, and preparation of manuscript and presentation of TCGs data. More recently she has been leading Cogtest improvements in data acquisition; working with the research and data management teams.

Dr. Susan De Santi is Associate Professor with the Center for Brain Health at NYU School of Medicine. She has authored and contributed to more than 100 publications and presentations, including recent publications involving neurocognitive data.

Monika Wilkosc, PhD – Research Scientist

Dr. Wilkosc is based at our Poland office and contributes to cognition and project activities. She has a PhD in cognitive neuroscience; is actively involved in all in-house Cogtest Validation studies. She holds a part time position as faculty of the University Nicolaus Copernicus in Torun Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz. Her areas of expertise include cognition and she regularly attends investigator meetings to present on cognition.
